Welcome to IMS Events & Decor. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the booking of our balloon decor and event styling services. By accessing our website or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. General Information
IMS Events & Decor (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Company”) provides custom balloon decor, backdrop rentals, marquee rentals, and event styling services. These Terms apply to all bookings, consultations, and interactions made through our website, phone, email, or social media platforms.
2. Booking & Deposits
- A signed booking agreement and non-refundable deposit are required to secure your event date. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of booking.
- Your event date is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and the booking has been acknowledged in writing by IMS Events & Decor.
- Full payment of the remaining balance is due no later than [Insert Number] days prior to the event date, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- Bookings made within [Insert Number] days of the event date may require full payment upfront.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email or text) to be considered valid.
- Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances, as they secure your date and cover planning and material preparation costs.

4. Changes to Your Order

5. Delivery, Setup & Collection

- Any delays caused by venue access issues, weather, or circumstances outside our control may affect setup time and are not the responsibility of IMS Events & Decor.
- If rental items (backdrops, stands, props, marquee letters) are provided, they remain the property of IMS Events & Decor and must be returned in good condition or collected as agreed. Loss or damage to rental items may result in additional charges.
6. Outdoor Events & Weather
- Balloon decor is sensitive to weather conditions including wind, heat, humidity, and rain. We cannot guarantee balloon longevity or appearance for outdoor events exposed to these conditions.
- If your event is outdoors, we recommend having a backup indoor/covered location. IMS Events & Decor is not liable for balloon damage caused by weather once installation is complete.
7. Balloon Longevity
- Balloons are a temporary decor item and their appearance may change over time due to environmental factors (temperature, humidity, direct sunlight, or handling).
- We guarantee that our balloon decor will look its best at the agreed delivery/setup time. We are not responsible for changes in appearance after installation, including but not limited to deflation, movement, or popping caused by external factors.
8. Client Responsibilities
- The client is responsible for providing accurate event details, including date, time, venue address, and theme/color preferences.
- The client must inform us of any venue restrictions (e.g., no helium balloons, height restrictions, ceiling type) prior to booking.
- Any additional costs incurred due to inaccurate information provided by the client will be the responsibility of the client.
9. Liability
- IMS Events & Decor takes all reasonable care in the design, delivery, and installation of decor. However, we are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from the use, handling, or interaction with balloons or decor items after installation is complete.
- We are not responsible for damage to venue property unless caused directly by our negligence during setup or takedown.
- Our liability, in any circumstance, is limited to the amount paid for the services rendered.
10. Photography & Marketing
- We may photograph or video our work at your event for portfolio and marketing purposes, including use on our website, social media, and promotional materials.
- If you do not wish for your event to be featured in our marketing, please notify us in writing prior to your event date.
11. Payment Methods

12. Force Majeure

13. Intellectual Property
All designs, images, and content created by IMS Events & Decor remain our intellectual property. Clients may not reproduce, resell, or distribute our designs or marketing content without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
